Doing Well
Local lads who took part in the Wellington Maori Competitions recently were, from left, Ruka Roberts (Wairoa), Steven Akroyd (Manutuke), Colin Jones (Manutuke), Willie Smith (Whakaki), Willie Puanaki (Wairoa) and Peter Mitchell (Nuhaka). These young men are taking part in the trade training scene of the Maori and Island Affairs Department, and are based in Christchurch where they are staying at the Te Kaihanga Hostel.
