On board the navy supply ship H.M.N.Z.S. Endeavour when it called into Gisborne on a short visit. recently was Petty Officer Alan Farndale. He is the son of Will and Doris Farndale, 8 Foster Street. Alan was in the British Navy before transferring to the New Zealand Navy nearly six years ago, and completes his 12 years' service next January. After he leaves the. Navy, Alan intends to settle in Gisborne. From left: Mr Farndale, Alan, Mrs Farndale, Melanie and Nigel.

Barbara McLeod, daughter of Mrs Hazel McLeod, 34 Anzac Street, was, in 1969, top graduate in Home Science at Otago University where she gained her B.H.Sc., and also won the Jessie Kinder prize. This year Barbara has gained her Master of Home Science degree with first class honours, and was president of the Home Science school for 1970. Next year Barbara becomes an assistant lecturer in the Home Science school at the University.

Frorn Mrs K. Henry, Waipiro Bay, we have this picture of her son Henry taken in Hong Kong. Henry, who is in the Post Office Savings Bank in Wellington, was on a trip to Expo '70.

Mrs Merle Jenkins and her twin daughters, Karen (left) and Louella. Mrs Jenkins and her four children (Wayne and Tracy are absent from this picture) left on the "Himalaya" to join Mr Jenkins, a sales engineer, in Brisbane. Mrs Jenkins is the daughter of Mrs G. Torrie, Dryden Street. The Jenkins family have lived in Cambridge for the past 11 years.
