Donnelly, Ormond Road, attended the investiture at Government House where he received his Distinguished Flying Cross from the Governor– General, Sir Arthur Porritt. The citation reads, in part, ...who showed outstanding skill and coolness in Vietnam". Bruce, who is a Skyhawk pilot, is now based at Ohakea.
