"Daddy Wouldn't . . .

. . . buy me a bow-wow" – of course! This must be wrong somehow as there were plenty of pups and dogs in the P.B. Kennel Club's ribbon parade held at the showgrounds. Club patron Gordon Wattie presented the ribbons to the "top dogs", with Maxine Pilkington's Australian Kelpie "Watseedo" taking the Best on Parade title.
