36 Cycling Miles
Cyclists from Napier and Hastings visited Gisborne for two cycle races on August 1. Seniors took part in a 36-mile race (to Waerenga-o-kuri and back), while the colts held a race to the Waipaoa Bridge and return. Good times were recorded and the visit of outside riders gave added incentive to the local cyclists.
