This house was shifted in one piece by Monk's recently. The journey from lower Childers Road to a new site in Winter Street was accomplished without incident. Although other houses have been moved about Gisborne's streets before, this would be one of the biggest moves made.

Newly-weds are still subject to the pranks of "well-wishers" and "Photo News" staff members Robert (Jock) and Marie Moffat were no exception. They returned from their honeymoon to find their home nicely "decorated" thank you!
