Victory To Poverty Bay

A 29 points to eight win gave Poverty Bay its thirteenth successive victory over East Coast in this annual Queen's Birthday fixture. While the margin is wide it does not indicate how well the Coast did play. The I game also included the last appearance of All Black Ian Kirkpatrick before he goes on tour to South Africa.

Tom Hindmarsh scores another of the Bay's tries. Coasts's Reece Carmichael fails to stop him.

Looking forward to his South African trip is Ian Kirkpatrick.
