Crafts Awards

Entry standards were high again this year in the woolcraft competition organised by the National Co-ordinating Country Women.

First and second in section one (a sewn garment for member or daughter) were Mesdames R. Macintosh (left) and G. D. Whitehead respectively.

First and second in section two (a hand knitted garment for any member of the family) were Mesdames N. J. Neilson (left) and R. Dunlop respectively.

Mrs E. M. Olds (left) won section three (a homespun garment knitted for any member of the family) and Mrs M. Coffey won section four (a crochet article).
