Fish Beware

Fish in local waters better beware. With the terrific rods these fishermen won in Guy and Dunsmore's fishing competition there are sure to be even bigger catches made from now on. The winners of the various sections were, from left, Ernie Hart, John Hough, Paul Couper, Kevin Moyle and Ken Lunam.

At a very successful shop day held in Peel Street these boys raised a considerable amount from the sale of meat. Also from cakes that had been made by parents and the boys themselves. Ready for the rush on meat are, from left, Gary Monk, Robert Banks, Hugh Robinson, Steven Golds-bury, Ross Fraser, Frances Aldwell, Peter Morice, Murray Robertson, Roger Swan and Eric Mettner.

This magnificent cake was sold for an undisclosed sum. It was made by Ian Newlands.
