St. John Ambulance News

The youngest team at the St. John Hastings Open Competitions, and the most proficient, came from Gisborne, At these competitions this Gisborne team took four out of the six cups competed for. The trophies were the Richards cup (team test), Cadet Efficiency Shield (best No. 3), White cup (best No. 2), and Graham Taylor cup (best No. 4).

The successful team: Rex Wilson (No. 4), Kevin Wilson (No. 3), Robert Goodson (No. 2), and Robert Wilkie (No. 1). Recently, presentations of certificates and chevrons were made to several members of the brigade.

Miss Y. Sinclair, district nursing supervisor St. John, presented five year certificates to Mrs Jan Leete and Miss Ngaire Cowie. Absent: Mrs Esther Topp.
