An unofficial record price of $4000 was paid for a show jumper in New Zealand recently. The horse, Atlas, which belonged to Mr Sonny Bruce, Whangara, was sold to a Japanese buyer. Atlas was extremely versatile, being a champion hack and champion hunter on the flat, as well as champion round the ring jumps. Atlas was also a very proficient F.E.I. jumper.
