Anti- Establishment

"Antigone", written 2400 years ago by Sophocles, is startlingly appropriate to the problems of today's youth in its defiance of the Establishment. A very strong cast from the Boys' and Girls' High Schools will present a modern version of the play in the Boys' High assembly hall on May 4, 5 and 6. This production looks as though it could surpass the standard of last year's "Pohutukawa Tree" – and that's saying something.
