50 Golden Years
Mr and Mrs W. R. Torrie, 35 James Street, celebrated their golden wedding recently. The Torries were farming before retiring to the city to live. For the past 10 years Mrs Torrie has been president of the Gisborne Women's Club, which held a special celebration to mark the anniversary.
