Mrs I. B. Holland, Russell Street, has retired from Red Cross activities. She has been a member for the past 16 years and for the last 14 of these she has worked for the care of the aged and actually started the Old Folk's Help Bank. Mrs Holland regenerated the Junior Red Cross six years ago after it had been in recess for the previous nine years.

Corinna Bayram, a pioneer of 4th Gisborne Company, Te Hapara Baptist, flys to Singapore and Malaysia next month to attend a Girls Brigade international camp. Corinna, 17, has been an enthusiastic member of the company since she was eight. The Business and Professional Women's Club celebrated International Night on February 24, the highlight of which was the candle lighting ceremony. A candle is lit for each country, whether it has federated or associated clubs. There are 27 federated and 15 associated countries around the world and more than 300,000 women belong to these various clubs. From left: Mr E.
