Stormy Weather Speedsters

The stormy waters of February 14 didn't, deter the enthusiasm of the 40-odd entrants in the Benson and Hedges 40/80 Power Boat Race. The running sea took its toll though and about half of the boat. had to withdraw due to various troubles.

Last year's winner of section 1 B (outboard over 60 h.p.), Mystic Miss, again took the honours in the same division.

Second place in section 1 B went to John Meredith's Tiger Hunter.

M. Sheridan's Nicolette took third place. This combination also won a total of five prizes.
