Operation Disarm

A special force to contend with people who go berserk with firearms has been set up in Gisborne, as in all main centres. They are called the Armed Defenders. The squad, which is drawn from policemen already on the station, goes into action (to capture or disarm the offender) after quickly assembling the facts and location of the incident. These pics were taken on a recent exercise.
