Adventuring Venturers

From Dave Hughes, Aberdeen Road, come these pics of the Te Hapara Venturers' movements around the countryside. Canoeing in the Mangapoike Gorge, and mountain climbing on Aorangi, in back of Ruatoria, take plenty of energy.

This chasm sees the end of canoe-ability in the Mangapoike Valley.

Members of the party take a rest atop the mountain. In back towards the coast is Ruatoria.
