Presentations were made to two long serving members of the Central School staff at the end of last year. Miss C. C. Miller, who has been teaching for more than forty years, retired as visiting teacher. Miss F. Joll, who has been in charge of special classes for the past nine years, takes over Miss Miller's position. From left: Mrs P. B. Mrs Dorrie Dennis (left) was presented with a gift from the I.H.C. when she retired after seven years as supervisor of the Donnelly Training Centre. Mrs Nora Steed, president of the Gisborne branch of the Intellectually Handicapped Children Society, made the presentation.

Members of the Te Karaka branch of the St. John Ambulance Association were presented with passes gained recently.
