The Sand Racers
Once again the Polo Club's Beach Race Meeting proved popular although attendance was down on last year. Hooves splattering on hard wet sand gave the meeting its unique atmosphere.
Most exciting event of the day was the second leg of the double. This resulted in a dead heat between Amberlyn (W. Pietchell) and Singhai (C. Fraser).
