New Citizens
Several people took the Oath of Allegiance from the Mayor, Mr H. H. Barker, at a Citizenship Ceremony held in the Council Chambers.
Mr and Mrs P. Bolmanac and their family, Millivia, Mariana, Paul and Hilda, are pictured with the Mayor after the ceremony. The Bolmanacs are originally from Yugoslavia.
Samoan born Mr E. Metcalfe was another candidate.
