Catching the Bug
The Savings Committee's national competitions got under way in Gisborne with the area finalists being decided recently.
Winners of the savings bug poster section were Prudence Davis, Robert Walford and Murray Whitfield. Their posters are being held by Lyn Aschoff (chairman Savings Committee), Robert Walford and Laurie Byrne (secretary Savings Committee).
Winners of the limerick section were Robyn Aylward, Noel Upton and Nigel Thompson. Prizes in each section for first, second and third respectively were $15, $10 and $5.
