In the Middle of Winter ?

Yes! Here in Gisborne we play bowls in the middle of winter all right. Near the shortest day of the year, to be precise. The climate is so good in this neck of the woods that this is possible. At the Gisborne bowling green, club members spent a pleasant day on June 14 pursuing their favourite sport.
