Transferred to the Stoke Primary School as the new headmaster is Te Karaka headmaster, Mr Tony Berdinner. Tony is pictured with his wife Dorothy and family Dennis, Annette and Deborah.

Drew and Lauril Stein were recent visitors to the city for the Old Boys' Football Club golden jubilee celebrations. Drew who played for the Boys' High First XV as hooker and was a Poverty Bay rep for three years is now with Mobil Oil. He and his wife have been in Wellington for the past six months. Prior to that Drew was with the company in Christchurch for three years. He is the son of Mr and Mrs Adam Stein, 340 Childers Road.

Helen Kearney, the youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs J. H. Kearney, 5 Vivian Street, celebrated her 21st birthday overseas. Helen is on the staff of the N.Z. Embassy, Washington, D.C., U.S.A.

Boys and girls from the Junior Cheer and Charity Club went to the new I.H.C. Hostel recently to present the matron, Miss Pam Swann, with a set of percussion instruments for use of the residents of the hostel. They also gave the hostel a TV aerial for the TV set given by the seniors of the club.
