"The Bride of Seville"

With a cast of 25, the operetta, "The Bride of Seville" (an adaptation of "The Barber of Seville"), by Rossini, was presented by students of the Girls' High School.

Members of the cast dressed in their gay costumes are Dawn Wilson, Margot Atkins, Eileen Cruickshank, Elaine Chapman, Sally White, Gina Jackson, Melanie Farndale, Kirsty Atkinson, Diane Baty, and Ann Stewart.

More of the pupils who took part are Gaye Horsburgh, Dianne Knox, Janet MacDiarmid, Penny Ford, Shona Barbour, Theresa Simpson, Lorraine Brown, Jenny Sides, Patricia Egan, and Ann Williams. Absent from the pictures are Karen Berry, Andrea Wells, Jan Yates, Diane Arthur, and Christine Olsen.

"Tell us, Figaro" cry the townspeople. The townspeople are played by Shona Barbour, Theresa Simpson, and Gaye Horsbourgh, and Figaro by Dawn Wilson. All the principal parts were given a double cast.
