Ngaurohoe In Eruption.—Picture above, taken at night of Mount Ngauruhoe in eruption, was sent in by Janet Green, 795 Gladstone Road. It was taken from the Chateau Tongariro last year, and gives a graphic picture of the beauty and grandeur of the mountain in one of its most fiery moods.

Dog,Man, and Horse.—Fun and games as a change from mustering seem to be the order of the day on Komihana Station, Whatatutu. "Tiny" Brown aimed camera over dog, caught Rodney Irwin, now manager of Te Apiti Station, in this classic pose, looking out from under station's creamy stallion.

Back Seat Driver. When the Andersons, of Branscombe Station, pongaroa., via Pahiatua, get ready for a day at the local horse sports, daughter Lesley rides in front seat, of family Ford, and the pony admires scenery from rear seat.

Notice To Readers.

We wish to thank all those readers who have sent in pictures for this department of "Photo News", and regret that we are not able to print all of them.

There will be no Readers' Pictures page next month, but prints are invited for next year's publications.

Would all contributors note that from now on we require pictures relating only to Gisborne and P.B.-E.C.

If prints are smaller than postcard, we require the negative as well. All material returned by post in due course.
