N.Z. Surf Champs
After experiencing top class surf on the first day of the national championships competitors were favoured with only average conditions for the second and third days. At New Plymouth the Gisborne-ites proved themselves the second top club in N.Z. and supplied the best overarll surfer in the person of Chris Ransley.
