Gay and Glamorous

Those were the words for the models and clothes which were on display at the fashion parade held in the Boys' High School assembly hall. The parade was in aid of funds for the Plunket Society and was staged jointly by the Gisborne and Te Hapara branches. More than 500 people attended the function.

The parade was graced by the presence of Miss New Zealand, Christine Antunovic. All the clothes came from the range at Adairs.
