R.S.A. Bowls

Three-hundred-and-twenty bowlers accompanied by their wives and supporters gathered in Gisborne on March 15 and 16 for the National N.Z.R.S.A. Bowling Tournament.

Victory To Wairoa. Proud winners of the N.Z.R.S.A. Bowling Championship Trophy are Herbert Buckingham (No 3), Fred Gera (No 2), Tom Lambert (lead), and Cyril Hislop (skip), all of Wairoa.

Bowling Centre), Mrs Esme Tombleson (M.P. for Gisborne), the Mayor, Mr H. H. Barker, Mr Hamilton Mitchell (Dominion president of the R.S.A), and Mrs Jack Booth.
