Gold Cup Meeting
The Poverty Bay Turf Club held a most successful summer meeting in February.
Star attraction of the two days was the running of the Leopard Gold Cup on the second day. This was won in no uncertain terms by Odeon. Rider Bill Cardwell stole a march on the rest of the field and the combination won as it liked.
