A Century of Service

With the retirement of Jack and Myrtle Fredericks from the Cook Hospital staff recently, more than 100 years of service have been given by the one family.

The late Ernest (Gus) Bates retired in 1954 after 30 years' service. His daughters, Mrs Fredericks and Miss Jesse Bates, have given 22 years' and 25 years' service respectively, and Jack Fredericks has given 29 years, a total of 106 years.
