At the other end of the scale celebrating his 80th birthday is Richard McCullough of 122 Ormond Road. Mr McCullough came from Donhegal, Ireland, served in World War 1, and farmed at Makauri until his retirement. (K.K.K. ).

Bill Mabey, 31 Collins Street, came of age recently. Bill is the son of Mrs S. Mabey, and the late Mr N. Mabey. (K.K.K.).

Nancy Stirling is off to Wellington. The daughter of Mr and Mrs D. Stirling, Ruatoria, Nancy, who has been working in Gisborne, is going waitressing at Bellamy's in Parliament House.

Donald Bruce Bugden, the son of Mr and Mrs S. L. Bugden, 572 Aberdeen Road, celebrated his 21st birthday recently. He is now working in Wellington. (K.K.K.).

Terry Brinkley, formerly of Gisborne, and now of Sydney, Australia, has just had his 21st birthday. Terry is currently on his third overseas trip.
