Whatatutu Boxing Assn.
Junior members of the Whatatutu Boxing Association have enjoyed a successful boxing season. Pictured are some of the most successful boxers with certificates and trophies won during the season.
Sam Tamanui with his mother, Mrs Dave Tamanui. Sam won the James Rata Penepa Memorial Challenge Belt and represented Gisborne at the N.Z. junior boxing titles held at New Plymouth.
Mrs R. Tepene gives Mick Robin a helping hand with his certificates. Mick took the title for the most scientific boxer at Wairoa recently.
Bill Mackey's most outstanding trophy is the Patrick Lanigan Memorial Trophy from Wairoa.
