Here & There

From Mrs D. Hadwen, 26 Lyndhurst Street, we have these snaps of her pug dogs. They have all done well for themselves in shows ami sake Mrs Hadwen's pastime of dog-raising well worthwhile.

Kim is retired and is the parent of Lesa. Teena was the best pup bitch in the recent Rotorua Show. Lesa, the mother of the pups in front, was judged the best toy pup at Wairoa last January.

From Charles Iles who is working in England, but hopes to be home just prior to Christmas, comes this amusing pic. The sign is sited near Northbourne in Kent. It points to Ham, a small village, and Sandwich, once a port of great importance on the Kentish coast. Charles is the son of Mr D. W. Iles, 20 Fitzherbert Street.

Simon and Allen Smith seemed concerned at "a serious situation".

From the Reverend R. M. Bilham, Matawai, come these pics of a truck and trailer which went off the road by Mr F. C. Smith's property at Rakauroa. Fruit, vegetables and other perishable goods were scattered around, but no one was hurt.
