The Show

That Poverty Bay is certainly a misnomer was once again proved at this year's A.& P. Show. The quality of all stock entered was of the best which just shows there is nothing poor about this rea.

The trades section held some interesting exhibits. Among them was this tractor transporter which was on display on the Porter Engineering stand.

"Which reminds me, I must get something to weed the violets".

"If seven blokes, for seven years, mowed with seven mowers" - (or a like quote) "would they get rid of the grass?". There must be as many motor mowers as there are varieties of grass on the market these days.
