Life Saving Awards

Nine members of the Gisborne Surf Life Saving Club were presented with various awards at the annual general meeting.

Receivers of the Surf Life Saving medallion were Noreen Read, Janis MacFarlane and Alison Thodey, Elizabeth Morse, Chrys Sutton and Lorraine Allen.

Diane Stuart also received the medallion.

Ken Morse was awarded the N.Z. Distinguished Service Award.

Mrs Joy Gane received the District Service Award.
