Representatives of the Gisborne Refrigerating Company were Ted Perano, Eric Bennett, Barry Callaghan, Jack Lawton, Kay Maynard, Phil Pearse, Laurie Cook and Tom Kane.

Phil Hatwell, Allan Atkins, Dick Black, Jim Redstone and Maurice Black, members of the Deerstalkers' Association, were third.

Fourth place went to Gary Garvey, Jim Clough, Bruce Meredith, Graeme Evans and Bill Stuart of the Police Department.

Representing the Archery Club were Frank Rickard, Eddie Burgess, Clarrie Latta, Keith Baker, Graeme Rickard and Brian Laing.

Jack Stevens 303 Rifle Club, Toni Jacobs and Barry Davis (both of the Miniature Rifle Club) down on the mats. Second place in the tournament went to the Waikohu Rifle Club.
