Pirates' Presentation

The schoolboy rugby players of the Pirates' Rugby Club held a bonza end-of-season feast and presentation of prizes at the club rooms recently.

This team won the 13th grade B Shield. They scored 174 points for, and 39 against, during the season. With their manager, Mr Jack Faras, are from left, in front, Simon Smith, Peter Keall, Timothy Faras, Anton Tashkoff, Greg James, and at back, Robert Blackburne, Warren McDonald, Patrick Sheridan, Robert Wagner, Barry McDonald and David Sharp.

Individual winners of awards during the season were, from left, in front, Stephen Durston, Matthew White, Phillip Menzies, Albert Hirini, Kevin Durston, Hugh Spence, and, at back, Mark Dodds, Randall Sherrat, Timothy Faras, Tony Bobette, Graeme Coppin and David Sharp.
