Swinging Premiere

A swinging film premiere marked the start of the Y.M.C.A. Building Fund Appeal. The film chosen for the occasion was "To Sir, With Love", a strong and meaty drama.

The first half consisted of items by the Folk Music Club, and a fashion parade of up-to-date styles from Day-N'-Dance Wear. The feature of the parade was that the models all danced as they modelled the dresses. They were ably assisted by The Jynx band in the Regent Theatre where the premiere was held.
