Operation Sunshine

A total of 3,0001bs of lemons was airfreighted to Invercargill recently to publicise Gisborne and the East Coast. A shortage of lemons in Inver cargill prompted the operation which was organised by N.A.C. Gisborne people donated spare fruit from their trees, and the lemons were distributed down south to various institutions and organisations.
