Gymnastic Activities

Two gymnastic events of note took place recently. These were the competitions between the East Coast and Poverty Bay Schools, held in the Boys' High School gymnasium, and the Inter-schools Gymnastic Festival, held in the Y.M.C.A. Stadium. The standard through both events was pretty high and competition was keen.

Ellen Taukamo, Whakaangiangi, Suey Taare, Rangitukia, and Maudie Johnson and Tony Whitfiel of Makarika were among the contestants who came the longest distances to compete.
