Ships of the New Zealand navy recently took part in exercises with ships of the Royal Navy and the Royal Australian Navy, when about three months were spent in the Singapore and Manilla areas. On hand with his camera was Signalman Ian Buckingham (left), son of Mr and Mrs Peter Buckingham, Ormond Road. He came back with a bundle of excellent pictures, from which we have selected those on this page to illustrate his trip.
