During the last month, "Photo News" cameras seem to have been going down to the world of sea and ships rather more than usual. The result is eight pages of photographs taken at random in the harbour. This aerial view shows the Turanganui River at left, flanked by Watties Canneries, the lighter anchorage and slip in the foreground and the harbour channel at right, with the refrigerating works nearby, the harbour basin, and the suburb of Kaiti in the distance.
