Big Clean-up
Over fifty men gathered at the showgrounds for a working bee to repair damage done in the April storm. Most of the damage was around the boundaries where large trees had fallen. Some ground had to be re-levelled and a few boundary fences repaired. Very little damage was done to buildings.
Just a few of the workers. They are Richard Collins (on the tractor), Richard Parker (one of the organisers), Brian Wagner, Don Orchiston, Roger Naish, Rob Graham, Ben Miller and Don Graham.
Part of the debris along the back boundary.
Tractors clearing fallen trees off the main drive.
The sound of chainsaws did not stop all day.
