Savage Invasion

"Export mutton" was the theme of the welcome accorded the Taradale Savage Club when it "raided" the Gisborne Orphans' Club recently.

The newly formed Taradale club's "rejects" were treated by dosage with a huge "pill".

The treatment must have had the desired effect as the evening's entertainment, provided by the visitors, was tops.
