Comparable Beach

This is the north end of the famous Bondi Beach at Sydney, Australia. Although practically deserted on this winter's day, the beach is thronged with upwards of 60,000 surfers, swimmers and sunbathers during the hot Australian summer. However, it has not the long sweep of our own Waikanae and Midway beaches, nor does it appear to have the same degree of safety that our beaches have---which just goes to show that we do have some of the best beaches in the world right here on the East Coast.
