Where are They Now?

Louise has been overseas 20 months, five months being spent camping around the Continent in a van with her two flat mates. They had a marvellous time visiting 12 countries and working seven weeks as waitresses in Austria where Louise celebrated her 21st birthday. Dale has been away five months and leaves on her Continental trip shortly, but has already been on a skiing trip to Austria. Dale arrives home next Christmas Eve and Louise next March. Both girls report that they are having a "fabulous time" in England.

Auton Low, son of Mrs Q. Low, 22 Salisbury Road, has now been in England for three years, and is beginning to make his mark as an actor.

After leaving school, where he first took an interest in acting, Auton went to Wellington, and, after some minor parts in television plays, joined a travelling theatrical group. After leaving the group he went to England.

Since being in Britain he has played a major role in "Volpone" (the first play produced by Sean Connery), and was understudy to Lawrence Pressman, as well as playing a part himself, in the play "Man in the Glass Booth". This play ran in London's West End for six months.

He has now taken the opportunity to understudy Sir Alec Guinness in "The Cocktail Party". He has also been cast in major roles in three other plays which are "The Unknown Soldier and His Wife", "The Tempest" and "The Skin of Our Teeth".

All four plays are being presented in an alternating series, and had their premiere at the Chichester Theatre in Sussex this month.
