Debutantes Presented

At the 14th annual Catholic Ball held this year in the War Memorial Hall nineteen debutantes made their curtsey to the Reverend Father N. Berridge.

The official party, pictured with the debutantes, were Mrs Esme Tombleson, M.P., Mr Tombleson, Mrs G. Murray, president of the Catholic Women's League, who was hostess for the ball, Father Berridge, the Mayor and Mayoress, Mr and Mrs H. H. Barker, and Mr A. J. Bartlett.
