From Mrs Ralph Kemp comes this picture of water lilies growing in a pool in an isolated spot up the coast near the Opiki woolshed. It is good to see that some one has done a little towards beautifying the countryside, instead of seeing damage from vandals, for a change.

This site, at the corner of Tyndall and Huxley Roads, is the location of the new hotel to be built in Kaiti. The section is now being levelled by Monk's machinery.
