Air Scouts Go Underground

The Te Hapara Air Scouts have been on the move in recent weeks with trips to the Mangaone caves near Morere, and a camp at Easter. From Gordon Gibson, who supervised the trips come these pictures taken on the expeditions.

The Easter camp was held at Rere in which 14 boys took part and they are, from left, at back, Kevin Russell, Neil Thorstenson, Phillip Friar, Murray Friar, Ross Sebire, Willie Connelly, Rex Bullard, and, in front, Tony Gregory, Gregor McNab, Tony Bartlett, Rex Maurirere, Paul Russell (obscured), Keith Jeffery, and Barry Rykers.
