Anzac Show
A great array of talent resulted in a grand variety show for a packed house in the R.S.A. Hall on Anzac night.
Under the direction of Johnny Simpson the smooth-flowing, fast-paced show went from go to whoa without a hitch.
In conjunction with members of the Tin Hat Club, local artists also appeared on the programme and the whole was a blend of variety and professionalism.
Ken Wood and Hank Shelton contributed much to the pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk, especially in this scene with a very modern cow.
Len Malkenson provided a lot of the comedy throughout the whole show.
Doug Ellis, Jack Adeane, Mick Brown, Don Gooch, George Rawlings, Bob Moles, Allan Aitken and Max Ledger sang campfire songs.
Musical show hits were sung by Cliff Anderson, Leaone Small, Mary Quinn and Revel Rice.
Music of the bluegrass by the Feudin Deudes.
Robyn Munroe and Dennis Orchiston were popular vocalists.
